Stamp Duty

Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) on residential land or property – freehold or leasehold

  • less than £125,000,  – 0%
  • between £125,001 and £250,000 – 1% of the purchase price;
  • between £250,001 to £500,000 –  3% of the purchase price;
  • between £500,001 to £1 million –  4% of the purchase price;
  • over £1 million to £2 million – 5% of the purchase price;
  • over £2 million – 7% of the purchase price.
